post match-review of the Sora match:

-Fucked-up defence
come on guys.. let's get serious.. how can a team like Sora actually break our defence like so easily and get open shots most of the time.. the 4th quarter defence was really good though.. well done to yan ting for suggesting we play the 3-2 zone which shut them out totally.. only allowing them 2 points in the 4th quarter!!! let's hope our next game will show better def.. the way things are.. i guess it's best we stick to our 2-3 zone but with no pressure please.. =/
our weakness got totally exposed in the first quarter when we tried to pressure their controller

-Fucked-up offense
well.. i guess too much time of not playing together really showed.. so much one on ones.. and seriously.. their defence sucked even worse than ours la.. why were we not using dom's height advantage? why were there so much shot attempts from outside the paint? and once again.. TOO MANY FORCED SHOTS.. games are sometimes won by teams having GOOD SHOTS.. meaning either they are open or the players shoot their pet favourite shots.. but no.. many of us forced our shots.. -_-
that's bad.. but as usual.. we prevailed in the last quarter thanks to those fast-break points and points of turnovers

AS ALWAYS.. HENDRIE ALWAYS GIVES OUT PRAISES DURING HIS POST-MATCH REVIEWS.. =)

This is Ryan posting. I don't have much to say on the er match. Just that everybody played well. Congrats to dom, ben, mole, yan, adrian, haolin, weidi, kangwei and myself. We all did well despite being out of action for months in my opinion. Lets keep the winning streak alive :)

match was kind of dumb.. those retards just totally gave up after going down early in the match.. -_-
i shall not even bother to comment on such a dumb match.. although it counts as a win! =P

playing with the pros just exposed our weaknesses totally.. our zone defence seriously sucks bad..

dom had already understood his role as a centre in def.. well done my friend..
but offensively.. you gotta work on it so much more! beef up!
other than that.. the rest had fairly good games.. -_-

lately i've been playing basketball again..and i've seen improvements from some of our players.
1. Dominic
- this guy seems to be hitting almost every single shot in the paint, and he is learning how to use his body and height well
- Incredibly, he can handle the wall pretty darn well for a big men, and always have the ability to find hard angles to cut in
- i am seeing him post up more and more often, both high post and low post
Room for MORE improvements
1. Strengthen you body by going to the gym
2. be more comfortable when getting the ball, you still seem a little shaky, uncertain of what you are going to do
3. Help defence. the ability to rotate and force people down the baseline is very important for a big men
4. Jumping abilty. learn how to time your jumps and train to jump higher
5. dont be discourage easily

2. Ryan
- he is always training in the court, challenging people to 1 on 1 battles, great effort
- he is hitting his open shots inside the paint very well, esp around the 1pointer area
-more involve in getting rebounds
Room for MORE improvements
- cannot be too hot tempered
- defence MUST improve. Must learn to slide your feet while defending. Learn when to use your body and when not to. Do not point your elbow towards the opponent when defending(you are always doing that nowadays
- better basics. etc dribbling, a crossover that can actually go pass people, a lay up. further range for shots

i would like to talk abt the understanding of the game. Before that, i hope no one will have any hard feelings after reading this.
Not only i've seen improvements from dom(stated above), i can also see he understands the flow of the game better. meaning..when to do a bounce pass. when to lob. he seems to have a much better understanding on how to have a easier basket. Thats great stuff. But he still have some minor flaws such as forgetting to play D after scoring, and attacking the basket from the 3 point line.
Ryan, Show a lot of improvements, but he lacks the understanding of a game. he can attack the basket, he can shoot the jumper, but he doesnt know when to pass. Most of the time he gets the ball under the basket, so he doesnt need to pass much. But during a 5 V 5 game, rebounding and having such an easy shot under the basket is not that easy. Ryan's passing game is not polished enough for a 5 v 5 game yet. he needs to know when is it to back down his open and go for the spin, or take a step back and dish out an assist

oh my goodness.... is this blog dead? lol... ok.. juz to update on our regular schedules... from basketball... we became touch rugby crazy... actually.. it's to avoid those guards when they come around to inspect... WHY? because we r playing SOCCER!!! retarded..
ya.. when we see the guard.. pick up e ball and act as if we r playing touch rugby.. LOL!!! ytd, we had dom almo ben ryan and i while we played the small kids.. rather fun... after that... we went over to weidi's party.. nono. it was jieping(spelt like dis?).. his bdae hor.. we go kop drinks... hahas..
we had a match with the ppl at the bbq... mann... Dom juz towered over them... so comical.. and with gaddiel to finish the game with a side step shot... mann the guy was burnt.. ee chong went into hyper mode and ryan was steady with the boards... as usual... dom, needless to say capitalised on his height and made several post up shots... wat can i say about myself... haiz.. my off season is here.. miss like free.. pass like crap... -_-'''....
me ryan and hendrie also had a gym session at nite.. ryan and i went about 9.50.. and found out that hendrie was already there... damn.. couch n-----... bo jio... and ryan had several bumbs on the head cuz of dat... lol... u deserved it lor... ryan and hendrie has a damn good chemistry mann... i was running on the treadmill, den they started to sing the chinese song.. wat was it again? heck la... they can go join the superband lor... juz need to brush up on the singing.. lol talking crap le... bball activities are rather low nowadays... ben hendrie and i are in the middle of prelims... yan is MIA... lol...

"what exactly is basketball?"

you know.. it's like such a simple question.. IT'S JUST 10 IDIOTS TRYING TO GET A BALL INTO A STUPID RING

well.. to me.. basketball is an art.. there's so much more to the game then just scoring.. ( quoting yan ting's example of girls only watching out who scores the most )

when one guy goes one on one with a defender in a triple threat.. what goes on in the mind of the defender? will he pass? will he shoot? or will he just dribble past me?

such a beautiful game.. the ability to react correctly is so darn difficult.. haiz..

eh ok im actually back here posting just so i can clarify some stuff. and to ask some questions. ease up some man, this heres a light post. yes i am quitting. i probably wont change my mind. but of course im not gone permanently (dont cry), i'll probably be back by dec holidays. and no im not quitting just because of uncle. just lazy ya know. i already set my mind that the phoenix match was the last day. so yan ting dont give me that sheepish smile lol, and now for clarification, some say i flared up too fast when uncle hit me. well i admit that. but, how many times has this occured. actually i knew already something was about to occur when uncle mentioned 'today i block you'. yes i know it was an accident. but how many times has this accident occured? lets compare hendrie to uncle. they both are big enough to knock me down. they both play basketball. but have different styles of approach. but do you see hendrie whacking ppl accidentally all the time? no. uncle? yes. it might be an accident and not intentional. but the problem is his play style. do you see people driving and banging other people's cars and when the police pulls them over, and they say thats my style of driving? no. so you do not blame the person for moving too much. no one can move into someone and feel a slapping force. all he did was point out with that 'face' 'it was an accident'. maybe it was the fake i did to him that made him mad. but still. i do a fake and i get pushed. he hits me "accidentally" and he gets off scot-free? so if it was the fake. i apologize now. but how bout him?

Me - nothing much to comment on, cant be bothered

Adrian - was damn off at the first half, managed to save his ass by hitting shot at the second half. made a bunch of good defensive stops, aka steals and block. did pretty well defending his side. he also managed to get all his fast break shots in, and his foul in too. he made it a 3 point play by hitting the free throw. kinda hot headed at the end, attempted quite a number of forced shots, which is a big no no

Ryan - did well by grabbing many defensive rebounds, gave a defensive presence with his long arms. hit a couple of mid range jumpers. made 1 spectacular play at the end, by splitting the double and hitting th shot. still a little bit un stable. must learn to establish his position better

benji - did well at the second half, mostly defensive stops. he intercepted quite a number of balls, not just fast breaks, but all those passes to the base line. did a damn good hook shot in the ITE's face. block like 3 or 4 times. played very well defensively. he also contributed to the offense by scoring when the team needs him to. needs to be more positive, dont always say want to rest. also, must learn to be calm. cannot to kan cheong . needs to know when to rotated out to the 3 point line, when the guard cant make it back in time

Hao lin - was afraid at the start when he came in. a constant shooter,managed to hit a 3 pointer when open. he also did a great play by scoring a fast break infront of some losers. defensively, still needs to learn how to rotate on defence. needs to learn how to release the ball faster

Samuel - very very on form. hits almost every single shot. he can shoot the 3, fake the d and hit mid range jumpers.nothing to comment on, almost a flawless game from him

Tim - choker.choker.choker.too kan cheong, didnt do much

Yi chong - scored a 3 pointer and a lay up, nothing special. those are all moves within his reach. he should learn to have more moves in his repertoire

4th match

Sup everyone. Its one of the rare times me, ultraman, is posting. firstly I would like to clear up that our 2nd match was a victory, as the zheng hua people actually conceded defeat.

Firstly I will give a detail summary of the match.

Our players that turned up today are:

yan 'Kobe' ultraman
Adrian 'synthetic rubber' mcgrady
Ryan 'long hand' pippen
benji 'benji' Wallace
hao lin 'he didn't choke' choker
Samuel ' the sniper' ronaldo
Tim ' the Timmy' Tim
Yi ' i can only shoot 3 and lay up' chong

1st quarter
the match started after some drizzling. The starting lineup was Adrian, benji, Ryan, Tim and me. We lost the tip and he opponent got a easy basketball. After a few possession, we were down by 8 - 0. We scored nothing yet. We did some rotation and finally score 2 points. Tim got blew past by every player and we decided to sub him out. Samuel came in HOOOOOTTTTTTTT. He scored a 3-pointer right after he stepped into the court. He did many good moves such as scoring 3pointers and faking the defenders ass off. We got a few fast breaks, and ended the quarter down 13 - 10

2nd quarter
Samuel is in the game, on form, so we got back a lil bit of momentum, thanks to his shooting. I was getting some tight man marking from the opponent no.13, so I have to swing the ball around. We played well at the start of the second half and mid way through It, the PHOENIX (I must emphasize), CHANGE TO NETS (yes I know, they have no creativity at all. SUCKERS!!). Instead of playing their young players, they play their older players. It was ITE guy and some other 'I don't know who the hell they are'. Our weak defense got exploited, as they are more experienced players. I told benji to body him up, and just hold his hand up to block him. We did some pretty good D on them after that. Adrian also hit a 3.5 pointer (IT'S THE DISTANCE U IDIOT, NOT POINTS) The score at the end of first half was 'I don't remember'-'I don't remember too'

3rd quarter
with Samuel outta the game, we sub Hao Lin in. his first possession was crap. He took the ball and went baseline. Without getting past the defender, he pulls up a jumper and got rejected right in the face, I screamed the f**k out of him and he woke up. He scored a 3 pointer right after that, and scored a fast break in the defense's face. I pretty much blew past everyone, and score a couple of points. They started to play box 2,after seeing Adrian got his momentum by hitting 3's. The whole line up for the opponent team changed. From kids of our size to people bigger than us. We struggled our ass through and played hard. We made a number of defensive stops, such as benji's block and Adrian's tap away. We made our effort to grab defensive rebounds and it paid off. We also have a lot of steals, which lead us to many easy baskets. We ended the quarter with a 16-point lead.

4th quarter
Adrian didn't play at the start of the third quarter. I benched him. LOL just kidding. He knocked his knee against an opponent and hurt his knee. Tim took his place and played. the opponent came in fired up in the 4th quarter. Mr. Innova solo his way through and got many easy baskets. When it was our turn to bring the ball up, we made mistakes and we lost our lead to 6 points. I called a timeout and we rested for a while. Tim wasn't doing anything, so he was subbed out. Adrian came in. I dribbled the ball up the court, and pulls up a 3. I banked the shot in (Tyco) and then lead increased back to 9. During this quarter, we didn't make any defensive stops. We just change trading baskets. You score I score you score. At this point of time, Ryan made a spectacular play. I passed the ball to him, and he managed to grab it. He came down and two defenders doubled him up. Ryan did a 'Dwyane Wade' on the defenders, and split the double. He draws up a shot, while losing his balance, and hit it. We managed to intercept a lot of Mr. Innova's ball as he only know how to shoot 3 point, lay up from the left, and pass to base line. Yi chong came into the game, after a last 10-second possession. I grabbed to defensive rebound and the whistle resonated. We beat the phoenix, or nets if you wanna call it that way by 6 points in the end. I am happy to say that we manage to keep our 4 game winning streaks. The next post will be a break down of every player's flaw and his highlight moves

alright listen up, no bs today. heres a little sumsum we should think about.
heres the scenario. player A and player B and so on. we focus on A and B. Lets say A is a good player. Whilst B is slightly lousier but nonetheless a player. to simplify the ration is

player A 10:8 player B and both have a good scoring rate. A of course being better.

player A and B are on the same team.
the match plays at the start everyone gets a chance and so on. the score then goes to a point where the opposing team is on the verge of winning. so basically, what would normally happen is everyone will get caught up in the hype. and everyone focuses on the better player to make points. but the thing is, the team will also put an effort to stop the better player which is therefore dubbed player A. so in a virtualistic way, it turns to a 4 on 1. here begins the lesson

player A dribbles into the fray with a enormous adredaline rush focusing every single thought and sense into cutting in and making the basket. but it is too hard to penetrate. player B is open and in a good scoring zone and shouts out to pass the ball. but in the rush, player 'A' didnt hear and didnt pass the ball. this goes on. a few successful shots but still in the end, a futile attempt at winning.

after the match, player B asks why he didn't pass the ball. player A either says 'B' didnt or responds by saying 'B' didnt call for the ball. player B says he did which triggers the response ' are you even sure you can score '

now, if player B wasnt in a good shooting spot but 'A' still passes the ball to 'B' , the ball could be passed around to reset and create a new play. so dont ask me 'player B can score anot?'. and another important note, always keep your f-ed up mind thinking and not so focused till you cant hear a call and generate some absurb reason. if you know you cant make it, pass out, or slow down and turn back.

just to state some points i missed out and am too lazy to go find and palce it in the proper position, when i said player A charged in, please dont tell me he might make the shot because i imagine a scene where the defense was near to impossible to pierce through. and just so you know and to keep you from peeing in your pants, this post isnt aimed at any single party but to those who happen to experience this scenario. dont say 'how to think at such a time' because its not even thinking. it should be like auto and not thought up. besides even if you have to think about it. theres not much to think about. dribble in+a very low chance of scoring=pass out. thats all. so ppl think about it. i think everyone of us experienced this before. so if you can score you score. but if the situation is too hot and the ball most likely would not go in, pass out. simple.theres confidence and over-confidence.

well big big big big big news. we are gonna have a match! cheer you shits! againts a outside team called phoenix. who the hell are phoenix? well lets just put it in a way most of us will understand. phoenix are like the bleach team(shi shen) we fought against sometime back. the only thing different is, they are slightly teeny weeny lesser than a decimal better than bleach. another thing is, they have some players taller than me T_T... but are clumsy. so too bad you guys :D.

mann... wat a match we had today... the two big meat came down today... we like beat them 51 to 40+... highlight setplay of the day... yanting qie past two big meats... steve nash to mi cousin... kicked it back outside to the baseline... and i , of cuz, haha hit the 3... wow wat a shot... yan was off form too... having struggling to shoot more den 40% outside the paint..... the juniors were impressive too... giving several crucial shots during the game......

today at 9. me (ryan), hao lin, adrian went swimming. we had alot of fun. a blast infact. with all the incessant 'chair shots' 'sleeper holds' and any other damage inflicting moves, we all had a sooper dooper mega ultra kawai swim. half way through our swim. our great yan ting joined in the fun. backflips, playing passing and other moves. when it reached ten we were still playing. heres where the story starts my friends. Quote:

Guard comes in: eh times up. ten already. come up.
Us: huh, thought eleven?

Guard: nono come up now. 10 finish come!
Ryan: eh but last time 10 leh. you go ask management
Guard: NO, now 11 come up!

Yan ting: can give us 15 more minutes?

Conclusion: if guards were here to guard us, why do they disturb us instead? why do ppl's stuff get stolen despite having' guards'? why do they set up cams yet dont monitor them? why hasnt the fucking management put up a soccer field despite NUMEROUS requests in the suggestion box. why are guards here in the first place?!

yes baby, you guys should be friggin kissin my feet for keeping this place alive. now on with the news. june holidays has arrived for most of us. to those who did well, you dicks better show up. to those of you who got pwned/owned/crapped/'usuk'/nathaned by your exams, well, too bad, try to make some effort into coming down. now to our main feature today. gambling and betting.

yes my sack face people, we do occasionally have a little bet. winner gets money. but is the loser willing to give. yes. a few weeks back. our beloved hendrie, ryan, and not so beloved filbert, played a match against juniors. 3 on 5. juniors, adrian, gaddiel, tim, sam, rolu. yes the bj co team won with great significance and brought down the iron hammer of justice and blowing upon these fools who attempted the impossible. but after losing, other than samuel, none have yet to pay a cent. giving excuses like, why so money faced, wait la, forgot. and the worse of all, you didnt even score a ball, yes i admit hendrie won the game shooting 3's and i managed some lucky scores but if it was hendrie all alone against 5, i doubt he could beat them, being a team isnt just about scoring the most. if there is no one to screen block pass in a tight situation. no matter how accurate you are, the numbers often prevail.

so like what we said during the aftermath, 'lose already show temper, then don't play at all, nor make such remarks. fuckers.' learn that well. sportsmanship and teamwork is the vital key, not always relying on 1 person. but to make this point in our ever so jovial ways of the bj,

Well im partly glad, partly sad to say, hao lin is out of the team till further notice. due to multiple pang sehs. well its not really the pang seh im pissed off about. is about why he pang seh'ed us. and that is for another friends. fucking lousy ass mother fuckers that cant play bball for the shit.

so hao lin will not be participating in ANY matches, friendlies, nor any main event. unless he makes an effort to come down more than 10 times FREQUENTLY. just to clear things up. he didnt get kicked off because he didnt come down. he got kicked off because he rather stay at home with other friends ALL THE TIME. even when he plays ball at first, a group of his thrash pai kia looking friends just come along, he agrees like some stupid no will unleet fuckfeet lap dog to let them go his house and play ps2.

at 2... my brother yi chong and myslf went to ryan house and we go lot 1 to eat... at block 71 saw fil bert bert... den call him go along oso lor... go FJ eat so sian... nth to blog... juz that ryan got some crap on his hand while touching filbert's ball.. mind u.. basketball... not his balls!!!! makan liao den go yamaha... ryan go buy his dunno wat stupid thing la... den we all go ryan house(except bert bert)... yi chong go play some stupid computer game that he play until he sian... why? alright now heres a small update to keep this blog alive. ps. pls intro more ppl to the blog. it seems that only 4 ppl visit them. yan, adrian, mole, and yes, ryan! and ocasionally janelle. well err for adminstrative, friendster profile update. write testimonials about what to change and i'll see to it. well so far, its exam period meaning less plays more study overkill on brain drain, then lessons resume the the wonder that all of us will jump for joy. that is..

JUNE HOLIDAYS.

yes just thinking about it makes me all so warm and fuzzy. that kind of feeling make me wanna go over there and hug all of the northvale team members. then slowly one by one slap each of you. JUNE HOLIDAYS?! oh no baby theres a major catch to it. and that is studies for most of us. if we dont do well. parents will definetly give us the assf*ck of the century and ground us like pepper. whats more if you DO succeed in exams, the school throws all kinds of nonsense like remedial, cca, camp and crap and one large pile of homework for most of us. the lucky ones get off scot free.

for eg. adrian, has so many camps and outings and remedial blah blah church etc, that he estimates a 2 times a week to come down and play. or even less. thats so much less than his usually rate. well basically in short, do well in your exams, dont get stuck with too much school crap, play more ball. we might even have a match in june against Ao xiang which hasnt happened for nearly a year, tanglin, or raffles or something what ever. besides the good thing is, about june is to be able to..

the coach's point of view:

the way we played was seriously bad.. i attribute it to one thing.. OVERESTIMATION.. you guys were overconfident.. and thus lazy..

2-3 zone--> it's supposed to actually prevent penetration to the max.. instead.. all of their points were scored by penetration from the high post and a shot.. lazy you guys! you guys just let them shoot instead of making an effort to block the shot..

maybe one day we should organize a match against a much stronger team and you guys will wake up! NUS-high was simply too easy.. we SHOULD have beaten them by 100 points.. and limit them to below 10..

now for the bright side.. the 3rd quarter team was good.. i can see adrian ( small ) having a bright future.. brave.. my father always tells me "never be afraid of getting blocked".. nice 3 point shot from gaddiel.. timotius played well..

the match against wasnt as enthusiastic as our first match but still, WE WON!!!!!!! (: 96 to 54. Too bad we didnt reach the 100 target but still we won with a great 42 points so cheer up lah! Adrian did a hang time layup, yan ting did a behind the back pass to jin cheng, dom rejected one of the NUS players hard, gadelle scored a far 3 point. Those were one of the many good plays we had.

Now its 2 wins 1 draw 0 losses!!!! so please STFU about the 100 target and cheer up!!!!!
I cant remember much about the match. everyone scored except Tim, Dom, and Me. We either didn't get a chance to shoot or had to pass.

After the match Adrian went to church, yan ting go dunno where, hendrie and ben went somewhere. Juniors went on a taxi ride. But Me, haolin, dom, samuel, jin cheng took a bus trip and had a photo taking session ! Kang wei left today which is sunday. Bye sam, see you at the end of the year!

hello my fellow partners, it seems our team is reducing... we should all make effort to come down on saturdays. because saturdays used to be always a fun day. but not now. now its all..

i got tuition, i go out, i blah blah, i yak yak and many other excuses. i myself have not been coming down lately, but i will start making an effort seeing that i just pumped the ball wei di lent me. maybe adrian can msg us before hand when trainings are and i will inform. like the time where we did PT. althought i didn't like it la..

so lets put in effort! come down and play basketball, stop making excuses,practice more often and most importantly, donate money to ryan!

after a loong period of time, we actually had a decent match on Sat! well for starters i'll give a more detailed report on the new jerseys. basically we're gonna get new jerseys, the colour will be decided by the great gang of me, hendrie, adrian, yan ting. the font will be left up to adrian. on a personal remark, adrian pls get a nicer font can? more stylish instead of arial. numbers, hopefully will be the same. the NBA will most probably be enlisting more people in. but the problem is.. we have no more space. all numbers are taken up. so tim, filbert, and others, apparently i have to say.. tough luck :)

Update. On basketball. And on other stuff.
Firstly, Basketball. Wei Di has been coming down nowadays. And the regulars.
There's this new guy always coming to the court with his friend.
Benji played after soo loong. But no Domonic.. Ryan hasn't been coming down lately.

Tanglin match not yet arranged. Adrian says: 'Aiyah the coach CB la, half half want half half dowan. I dunno them la ' New jerseys haven't decided yet. Will be getting the Jerseys on March holidays.

Now, the main event... The trip to SIM LIM. Featuring Ryan and Yan Ting.
On the first day Yan Ting already spent 1K on his deposit on his new computer. I went as his advisor and enquired about upgrading. Lol. After 3 days, we went back to collect Yan Ting's NEW computer. I brought mine along too. I finally upgraded one part! Sim Lim is full of scammers and conmen I must add.. I bought my new power supply form some DL shop. The guy look very stupid says Yan Ting. I felt a little suspicious of him. Ah anyway after getting everything. We carry one whole bloody Computer including screen plus my CPU home. Well down to the taxi stand anyway. Which literally numbed our teh fingers. After reaching home. We thanked god. Assembled Yan's Com. Then he played NBA 2006 crazily. Btw Yan Ting's old hard disc had porno. Lol, naked drunk etc.

today i'm gonna talk about player attitude..

one player who plays quite frequently ( or rather not that often because of his low standard ) at the NBA basketball court..

Before we played a match.. we decided to play team ABC.. he showed us his F****** c*** b** attitude.. let me quote that m***** f******.. "i'm not interested (folding arms)" what the hell man.. if any coaches hear that from a player.. WHOA.. i would just say GOOD LUCK TO YOUR SORRY ASS..

then after when we played match with ryan on my team.. he( the loser ) decided to be smart.. stand down there like a loser and sulk and sulk and sulk and sulk and sulk.. and continue to act like not interested.. I DUN FREAKING UNDERSTAND WHY I GAVE HIM SUCH A NICE NICKNAME TO START WITH! WHEN HE DRIBBLES THE BALL, HIS FATS BOUNCE UP AND DOWN LIKE A WAVE!!! what the hell.. loser man! i'm sure.. that this kind of player will never ever make it..

NBA doesn't need to have any players like this.. no matter what kind of player you are.. lousy or just a newbie.. we need to have the CORRECT ATTITUDE! look at players like adrian and yan ting.. they are players that have gone through tough trainings.. i bet not once did they ever sulk like a mother fucking loser just because they found problems with the game.. i dun think that they have even thought about saying "i dun care la".. those are for losers..

losers like that don't deserve to play on the court where many other NBA players play at everyday.. unless his attitude changes.. i dun think any player will ever like..

Finally an update! Yay! By the god. Ryan. Ego of course. K. Today... I went down to play bball and saw yan ting and also his brother. Then after a few minutes we had a match. Ay sorry guys I couldnt come for the match. Was in Genting. And the match I found was incredibly stupid. Come on la, those people you played against wasn't even half as good as Adrian. And I know that because I and Kang Wei have played against them before. Sure they had certain good moves but shit they were t3h 5ux. It sucks to have a draw. I agree fully with yan ting when he says that this is only a shadow of how we normally play. Adrian, call more trainings and call people that are required to turn up. seriously.. i think the match was all about controlling of emotions..

and lousy play..

up 17 points at half time.. all gone by the 3rd quarter..

the first half was great.. fast breaks suceeded.. passes were crisp.. assists here and there.. up 17 points in to half time..

and the defence was even better.. 2-3 zone.. we stopped them like crazy.. only conceding 4 points in the first quarter! why? you guys were talking! that's the key to defence.. it's not whether the players are good.. it's whether you guys are committed! remember.. good defence requires concentration and hardworking for the whole game.. not just in the first half..

but why did we allow them to catch up? dun blame the slanted ring.. the defence was gone.. their play was always the same.. the centre would just block off the forward and the guard will just dribble to that particular side and shoot.. EVERY PLAY IN THE SECOND HALF WAS LIKE THAT! the main culprit.. adrian.. he should have fronted the centre instead of standing behind him.. allow shou chen to take care of him.. because when the guard dribbles to your side.. you are behind the centre and he just blocks you off..

the offence? i'm sad to say that you guys played like the first team we played against.. where was the flow! the team cannot just depend on adrian and yan ting to perform magic on every play.. in fact.. our offence was more of a 2 on 5.. that's the problem with only have 1 big man.. the 4 guards just stood outside and passed the ball around.. and waited for yan ting and adrian to finish off.. NO! this is not the way! look at the number of shots that wei di and hao lin actually had.. maybe it's becasuse i wasn't playing.. ~~i dun want to boast.. but i believe i'm the scoring machine of this team.. =P~~ please guys.. watch more NBA.. watch more games.. play more.. watching the game was like watching LA lakers play.. adrian(odom) and yan ting (bryant) doing everything.. with no dominant centre..

yan ting: you had just an average game.. only a shadow of the way you usually play..

adrian: too kan-chiong already.. make some better shots next time.. it's never easy to keep shooting while at off-balance

shou chen: aiyo! so weak!!! must learn to be more hiong! fight! ( next time must copy the jurong coach.. when the player looks weak.. punch his chest.. )

wei di: can you please control your emotions.. never allow people's words to affect your game..

ok.. the emotions.. why? why allow their words to affect your game.. yan ting.. just because they were not happy that you kept chionging them.. it doesn't mean that you lose out on your aggression.. wei di.. haiz.. they were psyco-ing you only.. they taunted you.. and you allowed yourself to get affected.. actually.. in a game.. they would have already be given a technical foul.. but you still can't get affected and just walk back to defend.. the whole team should been mad at you..

BUT.. i must really applaud all of you for controlling.. their players were totally unprofessional.. number 7.. never swing your arm at someone.. number ten.. GONER.. that blue shirt guy.. really a fucker.. i dun think that guy is a school team player.. but he just can't control his emotions..

luckily.. everything ended well.. happy ending..

regarding controlling emotions.. this is a true story of a coach who is very well respected..
once.. a jurong player was elbowed in the face.. and then the confronted the other player.. the coach took him off and gave him a super tight slap.. and the player just looked down in shame.. "you can take a slap from me but you cannot take an elbow!" and the coach slaps him again.. "can you control your emotions??!?!?!??!" "YES!" and the coach sends him onto the court..
btw.. jurong was up by 40+ points against greenridge that time..

KK, here are the results. 1st quarter consisting of Benji, Adrian, Adrian*, Wei Di and Domonic scored a nice score of 25. Opponents score was 5. 2nd Quarter consists of Adrian, Adrian*, Hao Lin, Samuel and Yan Ting. The score was also great, 55, but below first quarter. Opponents score was 10 . 3rd quarter was the letdown. Consisting Hao Lin, And all the juniors, they managed only 6 points while the opponent pulled up to 29. But it's for the experience so hey.. 4th Quarter was the winner.. Adrian, Yan Ting, Domonic and Wei Di and Shou Chen, won back 50 points with Yan Ting camping at the back, Domonic, Shou Chen and Adrian threw the ball to Yan Ting allowing the easy score seeing that there was only one with Yan Ting. These are some moods of the players while they played.. Yan Ting was slacking at some parts. Shou Chen was having happy hour. Adrian was err... slimy. Lmao!. Domonic was rejecting or intimidating certain opponents. Wei Di was veeery quiet and defensive. Adrian* was.. very nervous resulting in losing control of the ball and not running fast. Gaddiel got the first ever offensive rebound for the juniors. Samuel performed well among all juniors. Hao Lin was.. Alright. Yi Chong had many collisions. Kang Wei was MIA. The amount we beat them by is 68. Sooo.... CELEBRATE YEAH...!

the game today definitely exposed our weaknesses.. adrain.. this game was not a waste of time.. for some of the players.. it was a new experience..

let's analyze our play.. our offence was nothing special.. let me be honest.. if not for their weak defence and rebounding.. we wouldn't even have scored 30.. their back court defence was pathetic.. we need more training.. the forwards need to move around more.. and the newer players seemed lost on the court..

News just in for those of you who are still unaware. Hendrie and me [Ryan] will be unable to play and train properly for a very long time. Hendrie's full recovery date is during the month of september 2006 and my full recovery will be around next year January. The doctors have discovered a 13 to 19 degree bend in my left forearm bone along with a few dislocations and the main cause, the fracture. I got the cast removed but sadly, I have to wear a thermoplastic splint for another 3 weeks and see what else they have in store for me. I am now unable to move my wrist due to the splint supporting it and my elbow joint will be numb and pain at times for a couple of weeks so.. I'm sad to say that i have to withdraw my position on the team. :(

the battle against the giant meat

at 5.30pm..me gadelle(dunno la) kang wei and hao lin where sitting at the stone thingy there slacking.around 5 minutes later..i notice a tall piece of meat walking outta block 70 smth..and bouncing a basketball..at that moment..i was thinking..shit.

by the time he reach the court..there were some mofos from no where joining him to play basketball.they started suggesting the guy to do smth a man of his size could,slam dunk.he then took a few step back..and start dribbling the ball.1 , 2 and BAM..the ball went rims out,so he decided to try again..tries after tries...this piece of brainless meat missed every single dunk attempt,so he finally gave up.being very sian,i summoned adrian down and 5 seconds later..we see a familiar looking shadow walking outta the opening of block 65...and who else can it be.

i immediately taunted those losers to play a game of basketball.the team consist of me,adrian,kang wei and hao lin.it started out smoothly,although the team mofos were playing really rough defence.then suddenly those team mofos changes their tactic.they started lobbing the balls to giant meat,and we were all slapped around by him.we then came up with a plan.kang wei and adrian will stay behind to defend giant meat,while me and hao lin will try to defend the front line.it worked really well and the team mofos couldnt shoot.well of course there was a time when kang wei and adrian(MUAHAHAHHAHA) didnt do a perfect job,yan ting came to save the day.he was going up for a shot after slapping kang wei and adrian around...what he didnt know is that i can touch the rim too(SUCKA!!!!).i jumped up and tap his ball away.being very tall,he grabbed the loose ball and went up for another shoot..this time..POW..RERREREREEEEEEEEEEEEEERREEEEJECTED!!!....the game ended with a score of 21-8.

that meat was very du lan,thus he requested for 1 more match,consisting of 4 person per team,but only playing 5 balls.this time it was me,adrian,uncle and kang wei.well..that meat finally fight someone of his own size.mr charles bakley did a great job defending giant meat by using his tummy and push the giant meat outta the court.we pwned the team mofos twice and then...those taekwondoers(like..wtF?) came.we then packed our stuffs..and went home

I'm here, (Ryan) to update the blog so it won't rot in hell and also to protest and bitch about.

First of all, I hope we win Ao Xiang in the match and hendrie, get better man. Although I'm recieving double of my income which is bonus, get better or we'll have a fainter chance of winning.

Second, why did so many people ditch us man. Some say PSLE, but if there's PSLE how come they're still coming out to play? If PSLE restricts them from playing in the match, I don't see why it doesn't restrict them from coming out to play nearly EVERY day. Sheer folly I'd say.

Third, I know that due to the problem stated above, we have little players and stuff, but haven't we already set the team so long ago? I mean 1 hour of running back and forth non-stop, and in my basketball training, I can run around the CCK Stadium 21 rounds without stopping and all of you run, and have more stamina than me, I feel that we can play for 1 hour IF we don't do some special stunt or nice move unless it's the final ball.

I know that if Wei Di joins us it'll make it much easier BUT didn't Yan Ting say that this will be an 'experience' and 'training' for us? so if it's tougher, won't it be better training?

The past few day have been boring. Nothing much happened. Everyone stayed at home doing something. Today night, I (Ryan) played with Jie Bing and Hyun Xiong (How the F do you spell his name?)
